Below are a few links to professional organizations, community organizations, and people to know.
I am an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science at Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina. In 2007, I earned a Ph.D. in Ecology from the Joint Doctoral Program at University of California, Davis and San Diego State University. By training, I am a community ecologist focusing on small mammals, invasive plants, and their interrelationships.
Most areas of conservation biology interest me, particularly the effects of invasive species on native communities. I am also very interested in pollination ecology and have a growing desire to conduct research on local bat populations.
I see research as a vital part of students' education and am committed to helping students pursue the research that most interests them.
Welcome to braswellenvironmental.com. This site is designed as a content management system for the courses I teach at Queens University of Charlotte. Most of the material can be accessed only by students, but feel free to contact me if you are interested in gaining access to any of the material.
This site is a work in progress; the content and links will change frequently. Please check back regularly for updated content and links.
Of course, suggestions are always welcome too.
